Plywood composition: poplar veneer, longitudinal or transversal fibres

The external surfaces and the internal layers of panels are constituted entirely of poplar veneer.  The external surfaces can show longitudinal or transversal fibres, i.e. fibres parallel or transverse to the longer side of the panel.

By convention (UNI EN 313-2), the panel length is represented by the side parallel to the surface fibres and corresponds to the first number used to express the surface size of the same (for example, a transversal plywood panel is characterized by the indication 125x250 cm, while a longitudinal plywood panel by the indication 250x125 cm).
