Poplar plywood properties: light, homogenous and easy to be processed
|
|
Panguaneta poplar plywood emphasizes the peculiarities of the wood used, i.e. lightness, light colour, high homogeneity with barely visible veins, easiness of processing, bonding and finishing.
One of the main features of Panguaneta poplar wood is that it can be reduced in sheets with a wide surface and without defects. This allows the manufacturing of a type of plywood whose external appearance characteristics are almost unique or at least well beyond those of many panels of the same kind realized with other wood species. Other superior characteristics are the easy laying and the versatility of use. Panguaneta panels are also an ideal support to be used for panelling with many decorative materials and as a component in the realization of several compounds.
Panguaneta has been always oriented towards the development of panels that combine aesthetic characteristics and technical innovations, thus meeting the increasing market demand related to real performance or aesthetic requirements (pre-finished plywood, plywood with insulating inserts, fireproof and so on).
The values of density, resistance and bending stiffness are strictly related to the type of clone used and the panel composition, i.e. the thickness of the veneers used in the longitudinal and transversal layers. The following table shows the approximate average values related to the current national production.
