Panguaneta @ FuoriSalone 2019

Luce. The wooden installation that "studies" memory and improves the quality of life by means of light and design.

Art and science meet thanks to the wood in the rooms which host the artistic installation of RCS Group created by the FVG Wood Supply Chain under the supervision of the Innova Consortium and with the partnership with Panguaneta.

Wood, design and science. The combination of these three different fields resulted in "InLuce", the artistic installation designed by the Castagna-Ravelli firm which was exhibited at FuoriSalone 2019 in Via Solferino in Milan from 9 to 14 April.

"InLuce" is a true multi-sensory journey between light and the wood fragrances, which stretches from art to science.
Spruce wood coming from the Friulian forests and panels made of national poplar wood with a short supply chain make up the structure which covers seven rooms; in each room, the visitors will be subjected to a different light stimulation and will be asked to answer some questions drawn up by the researchers from the Polytechnical University of Milan.

"IN LUCE is a great opportunity for Panguaneta and the whole supply chain to show the beauty and versatility of wood, which then becomes the protagonist of an installation with a high cultural and scientific content – Mauro Azzi, president of Panguaneta, explains –. Our plywood panels come from a naturally circular economy and our processes enhance the raw material thanks to cutting-edge technologies which help improve the efficiency and sustainability of the production process. On the occasion of the Design Week in Milan, we will highlight the value of wood with its high-performance technological potentials in terms of design".
