Identity
Panguaneta is a leading actor in the production of poplar plywood in Italy and Europe.
Born in 1960, Panguaneta is an Italian family company at its third generation with its origin in Sabbioneta, now a UNESCO world heritage site.
Panguaneta was originally the name of a village located on banks of the river Po. The river subsequently changed its course and swept away the village, so the founders moved towards Sabbioneta. Thanks to the determination of two young men, Giuliano Azzi and Antonio Tenca, Panguaneta was reborn as a factory in Sabbioneta in 1960.
Panguaneta converts a valuable raw material, poplar wood, into a plywood range offering innovative performance specifications.
Thanks to its skills to introducing innovations on its production processes, capability of managing critical issues, and anticipate market trends and demands, Panguaneta holds a high qualified field positioning.

Date of establishment of Mantova Companies' register. Panguaneta begins its activity with the manufacturing of poplar plywood.
