Grampian Oaks House - New Zealand

An environmentally friendly build featuring PUREGLUE MAPLE-SUPERIOR cabinetry with no added formaldehyde.

Grampian Oaks House is located is Nelson - New Zealand and has been designed by local architect Peter Marment at Design Base Architecture – DBA.

Peter and his team pride themselves on improving the built environment by exploring the use of locally sourced sustainable materials, creating healthy living environments and using innovative and efficient building systems.
This house has been rated a HomeStar 6 and will be HomeStar 7 once complete with PV Panels and Rainwater Collection. The rating process through the NZ Green Building Council allows to demonstrate how high performing and sustainable the house will be – for generations to come.
All the cabinetry in the kitchen and bathroom have been fabricated by a local Nelson joiner, The Custom Space.

The team pride themselves on their exceptional workmanship and like to source the latest technology and products where possible. They recommended using Panguaneta PureGlue™ Maple-Superior (Supplied to Plymasters in NZ and renamed PurePly Maple) to achieve this renowned HomeStar 6 rating.

PureGlue™ Maple-Superior encompasses technology that utilises soy based resins to glue the sheets of ply whilst ommiting the need for formaldehyde alltogether.
PureGlue™ range including Maple and Birch are produced with Italian poplar innerlayers from FSC® certified plantations and are a major nod to eco-friendly plywood manufacturing.
