Over five vibrant days, Mantua welcomed 69,000 visitors and hosted more than 300 international authors, offering a programme of outstanding quality. The Festival explored universal and pressing contemporary issues while placing increasing attention on younger generations.

This same spirit inspired the events promoted by Panguaneta within LAB – Libri Acque Boschi, a project launched in October 2024 by Festivaletteratura in collaboration with local schools and resulting in Ecobiblioteca, an active bibliography designed to spark curiosity, inform, and raise awareness among young readers on sustainability, climate change, and the relationship between humankind and nature. The selected titles were identified by a group of Mantua secondary school students over a two-year journey, during which they met researchers and publishing professionals, engaged in dialogue with Festival authors, and shared their reflections with the public. Among the highlights supported by Panguaneta was the meeting with Luca Mercalli, climatologist, author, and leading science communicator.

Once again, Mantua’s squares were also enriched by four Libropanche – special book-benches conceived and crafted by Panguaneta for the Festival. These unique installations offer both a pleasant place to pause and an inviting book-crossing station.

Our thoughts already turn to Mantua, 9–13 September 2026, for the 30th anniversary of Festivaletteratura.
