The event offered a valuable opportunity to share insights, assess the achievements to date, and discuss future directions. Today, BioClima stands as an innovative model of public–private cooperation for biodiversity safeguard and climate change mitigation, engaging more than 20 public bodies and institutions, around 100 companies, and over 4,000 citizens.
Panguaneta contributed to the project by supporting the restoration activities carried out in the forest corridor of Canneto sull’Oglio and on Isola Maria Luigia in Martignana di Po. The intervention focused on reducing non-native or invasive species to foster the growth of vegetation typical of riverine ecosystems. Cleaning and reforestation actions were implemented to help the woodland regenerate and naturally strengthen over time.
We are proud to have had the opportunity to support this innovative initiative, which has delivered—and will continue to deliver—tangible benefits for our territory. We extend our sincere thanks to Etifor, WOWnature and Regione Lombardia for recognising the potential of public–private collaboration to reduce environmental damage and to mobilise the resources needed to preserve and restore native ecosystems through measurable, verifiable positive outcomes.
